  20. Unfortunately, Vincent, like myself, is a FidoNet person, so we don't use rn
  21. or anything like that which has a kill file as such. We read our mail at
  22. home from the comfort of GEM and in conjunction with a BBS. It can be done,
  23. but is rather pointless because regardless of whether we had a kill file or
  24. not, we still have to pay money (in terms of phonebills and subscription to
  25. Internet to
  26. FidoNet gateways) to read all your wonderful postings, whether we want to or
  27. not.

  29. There is no method of excluding messages from a newsgroup we receive via the
  30. gateway, so we have no choice but to either receive all or none of the
  31. postings. Not that anyone ever worries about this when they set up these
  32. 'ADVOCACY' style thing, because you're got to cater to the majority of
  33. users.

  36. us can only dream about... free mail...ftp...kill files...
