- POV (Persistance Of Vision) is a very sophisticated raytracing program,
- which is based on the old DKB raytracer (I think). It generated several
- file formats (targa, ppm(?), raw, .dmp), and is perhaps the most complex
- although not the slowest raytracer you can get for free. It can even
- map GIFs on surfaces etc.

- PS: I've been asked to send the original distribution and diffs to
- atari.archive, I'll see what I can do... I could also upload
- ca. 6Mb of zoo-ed .raw pictures (24 bit 320x200) that can
- be displayed with Photochrome - these were generated from the
- sample 'scene' files that come with POV.
