- What you should consider is what you intend to use the MAC for. If it
- will be a stand-alone system then Spectre could be very usable to
- you. If you will need to join a local-talk network then Spectre will
- be of very little use with-out Dave Smalls Mega-talk board, which only
- fits into MegaSTs. I use Spectre 128, not GCR and it fits my needs.

- With Spectre you can setup your system to become a MAC on boot-up so
- their is very little difference in that regard. The only really
- noticeable difference I've found is the way Disk inserts/ejects take
- place.

- Spectre works fine with AdSpeed-ST, though if your system has 2.5meg
- of memory you have to do some extra key-strokes, which I think is needed
- for ALL STs.
