- OK, here's a few, not so much what I'd like to see, more what you could do anyway:
- (Leaving out dtp and wordprocessors because I can't imagine trying to
- write these would be anything but boring).
-
- Along dtp lines, how about something which will read in a picture/image
- colour/greyscale display it on any monitor/mode allow loads of image
- processing to be done and then output it in a format which all (most?)
- dtp/document applications can cope with. There seem to be a few commercial
- things around of this kind.
- Continuing with image processing, what about a character recognition program?
- Should be quite good fun.
-
- You could also try for an object drawing package. I'm sort of having a bash
- at this myself, but I've got side tracked now by omega... It's not boringly
- simple if you've never done it before (grouping objects/changing their positions/
- etc.)
-
- One other thing I can think off, especially now that you can just feed
- sound directly into a falcon, and that's something which will process
- sound samples (off line), to clean them up, alter/edit them etc.
-
-
- Well there's loads there, generally quite a lot of work involved, but
- you did say "applications" above.
