  33. OK, here's a few, not so much what I'd like to see, more what you could do anyway:
  34. (Leaving out dtp and wordprocessors because I can't imagine trying to
  35. write these would be anything but boring).

  37. Along dtp lines, how about something which will read in a picture/image
  38. colour/greyscale display it on any monitor/mode allow loads of image
  39. processing to be done and then output it in a format which all (most?)
  40. dtp/document applications can cope with.  There seem to be a few commercial
  41. things around of this kind.
  42. Continuing with image processing, what about a character recognition program?
  43. Should be quite good fun.

  45. You could also try for an object drawing package.  I'm sort of having a bash
  46. at this myself, but I've got side tracked now by omega...  It's not boringly
  47. simple if you've never done it before (grouping objects/changing their positions/
  48. etc.)

  50. One other thing I can think off, especially now that you can just feed
  51. sound directly into a falcon, and that's something which will process
  52. sound samples (off line), to clean them up, alter/edit them etc.
