  12. A friend at SUNY-Albany would like to use his 520ST as a terminal to work
  13. off the school's UNIX cluster. I have been pleasantly surprised by the 
  14. machine but don't know anything about it.

  16. 1. What cable should be used to connect the 25-pin "modem" port
  17.    to the external Hayes-compatible modem?
  18. 2. Is there shareware that can enable him to emulate a VT100
  19.    and use Kermit protocol?
  20. 3. Where to find good shareware.

  22. He has a double-sided 3.5 inch disk drive, which I assume is 720K.
  23. A user in the Netherlands tells me that the machine could probably
  24. read IBM formatted disks (since I will have to download it and
  25. get it to him somehow).
