  12. thanks to the folks who suggested that I use Serfix on my St.. it worked
  13. great to solve my handshaking problems with my new faster modem.

  15. My next question is how can I get this same clean handshaking when I
  16. am using my Spectre GCR.  Handshaking does not seem to work under
  17. Spectre either.

  19. Can anybody suggest anything?  Does anybody else have this problem?

  24. P.S. I use Z-term primarily, but I tried others and had the same
  25. handshaking problems.  My modem is a 14.4 baud Digicomm Scout Plus
  26. modem.  My ST is an old 1040STf with old ROMs.  My Spectre is version
  27. 3.0.
