- They are decidedly not slower than floppies. ICD's Ratehd reports 120ms
- seek time and 99kbs data transfer. No way are the hard drive manufacturers
- quaking in their boots about this performance, but its not all that bad.
- If it will give you a better feeling for the speed, I could copy some
- files, run a database sort, etc. and compare the times to a Syquest.
