  20. They are decidedly not slower than floppies. ICD's Ratehd reports 120ms
  21. seek time and 99kbs data transfer. No way are the hard drive manufacturers
  22. quaking in their boots about this performance, but its not all that bad.
  23. If it will give you a better feeling for the speed, I could copy some
  24. files, run a database sort, etc. and compare the times to a Syquest.
