- if the gif is a vanilla graphics file, one can sometimes, occasionally,
- possibly, perhaps (get the trend here...) display it by bit editting
- the header.

- Many times though the 89a files contain multiple images, text and graphics,
- etc. and the only machines "powerful" enough to handle these things are
- MS-DOS or Macs I guess - otherwise someone on an Apple II or Unix box would
- have written display software to display them, right? <grin>
