- Subject: ramfast 3.0 bus scan?
- Lines: 13
-
- can anyone offer any hints or suggestions as to why my ramfast 3.0
- (rev. k i think) only comes up with the message "scanning scsi bus -
- this may take up to 45 seconds" sometimes? i turn on my entire system
- with one switch, and it's annoying to have to turn the gs off and then
- on again after everything else has powered up, because the ramfast
- didn't wait and check the scsi bus and hung because the drive wasn't
- ready.
-
- it's a quantum pro-40, which shouldn't even take that long to spin
- up.....
