  20. Now that I want to read it again, I can't for the life of me find that
  21. article.   I suspect it said only the 1.4M density, since the PLI
  22. floptical that I just got doesn't read 800K or 400K disks either.
  23. PLI's service department confirms that it's not supposed to.
  24. (I was laboring under the misapprehension that it would.)  Mine has
  25. had no problems with 1.4M disks formatted elsewhere; I've only had
  26. it for 5 days so far though.     Caveat:   I'm running a MAC (LC); don't
  27. know how different the GS version might be.
  28.   Repeat:  I've seen no problems, and I like having a second HD drive.
