- When Apple created the StyleWriter from the Canon engine, they made it
- a "dumb" printer. The original Cannon BubbleJet, I am told, had enough
- brains built into it to do an "Epson emulation mode" which it what your
- friend would need - To operate from Appleworks Classic, the printer in
- question needs to be able to act like a common dot-matrix type printer
- which, unfortunately, the StyleWriter cannot do by itself.

- output to the Stylewriter.

- BTW, I own a GS, a Mac Classic II, a StyleWriter, and an ImageWriter II.
- The printer/computer combinations ARE interchangable. Now if the StyleWriter
