- I still dunno - our net had a unix box, messy-dos boxes, Macs, and one Amiga.
- It took us a little over two weeks to put it all together - over 100 liniar
- miles with bridges and routers too, and once it was up, it stayed up with
- no problems until I left (a year later). If your systems people are always
- tweaking the system, I'd question the quality of the original installation.

- (um.. I neglected to mention, this is an ethernet LAN)

- The software was easy to deal with (granted not an integral part of the
- LAN, but still something to consider), and installing the cable was a breeze
- (of course, a TDR makes things a lot easier than "does this work? How about now?")

- so... it still remains, I'd rather drive my V-8 than some silly little 4-banger.
