  11. When do the control panel settings for the GS's printer port apply?

  13. I have each of the settings set to their default value, including
  14. "Add LF after CR: Yes".  If I write a BASIC, program, then, that sends
  15. ten carriage returns to the printer, the paper is advanced ten lines.
  16. However, if I open a GS/OS "file" representing the printer and write
  17. ten carriage returns to it, nothing happens unless I explicitly follow each
  18. of them with line feeds.  Is the "Add LF after CR" setting ignored when the
