  20. The HP DeskJet 500 printer contains firmware which limits its use
  21. strictly to DOS systems (RSXXX and Centronics I/O).  The HP DeskWriter
  22. printers are designed for the MAC world.  To provide both environment
  23. capabilities in the same printer would make the printer more expensive.
  24. I'm not sure, but you can check with an HP dealer as to the availability
  25. of DOS -> MAC  (DeskJet -> DeskWriter) conversion kits.
