  25. Well, the definition of "good" varies from person to person ... some of us
  26. think that the advantage of having filenames that are clearly readable in
  27. plain English outweighs the minor inconvenience of occasionally having to
  28. type quote marks. But it's a matter of opinion. Just because you *can* do it
  29. doesn't mean you *have* to do it; if you don't like spaces in file names,
  30. don't use spaces in file names! Your complaints about having to rename some
  31. people's files from "This is a file" to "ThisIsAFile" are balanced by my
  32. complaints about having to rename other people's files from "ThisIsAFile"
  33. to "This is a file" :-)

  35. BTW, although Windoze and (I think) the Mac allow spaces in file names,
  36. NearMiss-DOS doesn't.
