  29. No, you don't need a flicker-fixer. You need the sync pulses inverted
  30. between the Amiga & the monitor. The Amiga uses normal active-high
  31. syncs (at least partly to make genlocking easier), but the PC uses
  32. active-low.

  34. If you are careful with a soldering iron, you can just squeeze a 7400-series
  35. invertor into a 23-pin D-type. I think I used a 74LS38 (or maybe a 37, check
  36. a databook first!). You can get the 5v supply off one of the other pins
  37. on the video port.

  41. PS The flicker-fixer is a scan-doubling unit, it removes the interlace flicker
  42. but needs something like a VGA monitor for output.
