  11.      Does anyone have any advice on startup-sequences on an Amiga 3000?  I
  12. use custom fonts and overscan on my WB screen and when the system boots, it
  13. comes up with the "close all stuff" requester and sits there until the
  14. original startup-CLI ends.  Then, when it resets the screen, any icons that
  15. were snapshotted so as to be off of the original screen are moved to fit on
  16. the new one.  Is it possible to launch a background disattached process to
  17. carry out additional commands so that the original CLI window is closed? 
  18. It looks REALLY tacky to have your screen come up in some bizarre mode and
  19. then switch and screw up all the icons!  Also, how in the HELL are you
  20. *supposed* to set the default screenmode to interlace?  When I installed
  21. 2.1, it didn't bother to ask and I had to copy an old system-configuration
  22. file from 2.03 disks.  What exactly is the format of that bloody file and
  23. how do you change it?
