- Can an Amiga monitor (model 1080) be used on a '286? I know the answer is
- 'yes'. I have already done the simple connection of my CGA card's composite
- out to the composite in of the 1080. But can this monitor go beyond that, and
- how far beyond - EGA, VGA? If it can do either of these, I'd like to know
- details of how to configure it. This monitor is on loan and I'd hate to
- blow it up.
-
- Also, if it can only do CGA, would a RGB connection be much better than my
- composite connection? Can I use a standard CGA RGB cable? How would I set
- the RGB switch on the 1080 - options being analog or digital(pos. or neg.)?
-
- Thanks for any help.
