- I will be buying an A1200 next week, but plan to hook it up to
- my old 1084 monitor. I know that the 1084 will not be able to
- display the doublescanned or productivity modes.
-
- Here's my question: Does sending higher scan rates to the 1084
- than it can handle result in a garbled display, or is there a
- possibility of doing harm to the monitor?
-
- I had no plans to try it, I just want to make sure to be extra
- careful if there is a chance to destroy my monitor.
-
- Thanks.
