  14. I recently got a Blizzard Board, but have been having some problems with it.
  15. First off, my configuration:

  17. A500 512K chip, A501 (fastram), External floppy, Spartan HD controller
  18. Blizzard board (512K shadow), 4x256K chips (1 meg total), 4x1Meg chips (4 megs)
  19. ADos 2.1

  21. I have one of the newer A500 power supplies that put out 4.3 amps
  22.  
  23. Problem:

  25. The machine Gurus. It comes up with software
  26. error # 8000 0003 or 0004. It happens at all different times. Figuring that it's a 
  27. power problem, I've disconnected the A501 and the external floppy.  
  28.  
  29. Could it be that I'm really running out of power? Or could it have something
  30. to do with the fact that I only have the 512K agnus? Do 4x1meg chips use up 
  31. more power than 4x256K chips?

  33. The numbers on the chips are:

  35. 256K - Goldstar GM71C4256A-70
  36. 1 Meg - KM44C1000AP-7
  37.  
  38. The original owner says that he had in the 1 meg chips lying around and 
  39. installed them afterward (it originally had the 4 megs.) No matter what config
  40. of memory I set up, it crashes the system and I'm getting really frustrated
  41. with it.

  43. Please help me! I need to get this thing working soon or else I'm gonna send
  44. it back and cancel my check! I need my computer for school work, but it's not
  45. very reliable if it's gonna crash all the time on me!
