- VGA/SVGA/Multisyncs should all work on the A1200.
-
- Most Multisync monitors will only scan from 30khz up, and hence will not give you
- the old OCS modes (as used in almost all games) but comparable new AGA modes. Most
- apps as I understand it should be able to be promoted into a compatible mode for
- VGA/SVGA/Multisync monitors. I could supply you a list of all the modes if you
- need them...

- What I'd advise is that you give UK HOME COMPUTERS a ring (they ad. in Computer Shopper
- and Micro Mart) and get their Princeton Ultra 1400 multisync. I have one and its great, they
- are asking 199 + VAT. They may tell you it won't work on the A1200, but as far as I'm
- concerned that's bull, mine works fine and does all A1200 modes (apart from the two really
- hires CBM grey scale monitor only mode (A2024?)).
-
- Specs are:
-
- 14" screen, 1024x768 resolution, .28dot pitch, scans horiz from 15-36khz and vertically
- 40-120hz, looks good (v. important...) and has all sizing controls.
-
- Good buy? I think so.
