- D->Vertex 3D modeler will load Lightwave objects and save them as imagine,
- D->turbo, wavefront, etc. objects. It's $40 from the author. There is a demo
- D->version floating around with the save function disabled.
-
- I saw Vertex for the first time at a usergroup meeting, and it was pretty
- good. The person who showed me was saying how great it was for converting
- objects for Lightwave and sort forth, but what I want to know is if will
- convert Imagine objects (or all other supported formats) to Lightwave
- PROPERLY, without having to resort to double-facing all the polygons,
- and will it make co-planar ploygons into one BIG polygon, since Lightwave
- can handle ploygons with more than just 3 points...
-
- Anybody know out there?? If it passes these tests, I'll buy it.
