- I just tried to use my Digiview after about 2 years of it collecting
- dust. I wanted to digitize some of my slides, save as an RBG file, and then
- convert it to Targa and JPEG. When I view the result in HAM with Digiview,
- the color balance was right on. However, viewing the saved RGB file with
- DCTV or converting it to Targa and viewing it on my 24bit PC card made the
- image very green and impossible to restore to its original colors.
- Could this be because Digiview saves as a 21bit file instead of
- 24bits? Is there something I should do before saving to adjust the color for
- the other formats? I wanted to get the maximum resolution out of the camera
- and use my own work for backgrounds or texture maps.
