- I'd like to disagree with you there. A friend of mine is a beta tester
- for Real 3D 2.0, and when it is released, I think it will blow every
- Amiga 3D program on the market, out of the water. Sure, each will have
- it's own special feature, that the other won't. But, Real 3D 2.0 will by
- far have MORE features than ANY other program out there. I currently use
- Imagine, and am anxiously waiting for Imagine 3.0 to arrive. It sounds
- as if it will have some nice features (like splines, finally).
- Hopefully, it will be a worth while upgrade. I've been using Imagine 2.0
- since it came out, and I've never once been let down with something it
- couldn't do. Of course, there are always times where it'd be nice to
- have this, or have that... But, it can always be worked out in more
- difficult way. Granted, Real 3D won't be cheap (I hear around 600 US),
- but it will probably be the most professional of all the Amiga 3D
- programs out there. I think for the price tag however, Imagine cannot be
- beat!

- I've seen some renderings done by it. They are quite nice looking. The
- interface however, doesn't look to attractive to me. It seems as if
- there's more numbers to enter, and less mouse movment, which I feel is
- more important when animating stuff. It slows down the "creative
- process" when you have to keep typing in numbers... The best, is to have
- both nice GUI's, and also the ability to do text/number entires (as does
- Imagine, which is one reason I quite like it). It allows for precision
- when it's needed, and the freedom of experimentation when it's needed.
- There isn't one program, that will do everything... Each, as I said, has
- a feature (or two, or three), the other doesn't. The best, is to get all
- of them. :) But, that's a little expensive.
