- I had the pleasure over this last weekend to play this game on a
- 50Mhz 486DX2 equipped with a graphic accelerator. The game is
- absolutely splendid, and the graphics and gameplay have finally
- eclipsed my old standby Ferrari Formula One by EA.
-
- I'd like to get it for the Amiga, but I'd like some input first,
- as I have a couple of questions:
-
- 1. How many colors does it use, 16, 32, or maybe 64? I bought
- F-19 and I'm happy (at least graphically) with the game.
-
- 2. How smooth is action. On the IBM version, it lets you control
- animation speed (and on a 486 you can have it all the way up
- to 30 fps - extremely smooth!)
-
- 3. Does the game work on a 68040 machine? No I don't have an
- A4000, but I do have a RCS Fusion-40 sitting in my 2000, will
- there be any problems in running this game with this processor?
-
- 4. Is it hard drive installable? Probably the best purchase that
- I've made in a while is Wing Commander as it is OS friendly
- and installs painlessly on a hard drive! I was quite disappointed
- with the fact that F-19 wasn't HD installable.
-
- Thanks for the info,
-
- Teddy
