- I believe the common (well maybe not common but probably proper) term for
- this style of play is called "Scotch Doubles." I don't know WHY it's called
- that, but it is.
-
- Me and a friend have sometimes been playing this way on REAL machines in
- preparation for a specialty contest at the upcoming Professional and
- Amateurs Pinball Association (PAPA) tournament to be held in NY city in
- mid-February. Let me tell you, if you think it is hard on Pinball Dreams/
- Fantasies, you haven't tried anything yet. We've actually done fairly well
- on a couple of games, at our best almost rivaling some of our "by-ourselves"
- games. Great fun, none the less.
-
- So, although it's not an original idea, it certainly is an interesting one!
- You really should see how much different it is on real pins, especially if
- the ball is headed for a sure drain. When 2 people try to nudge it out of
- the way, some strange things can happen...
-
- BTW - Should anyone want any information on PAPA 3, email me or check out
- recent postings on rec.games.pinball!
-
- later,
- keefer
