- I'm posting this message from a friend of mine, so please reply to
- this if you can - he really needs to know.
-
- I'd like to have answers in email if possible, although I guess if you're
- not happy about that, a posting here would be ok.
-
- Now to the message:
-
- Questions about AmigaNOS
- ------------------------
- I have the AmigaNOS program, version 2.9i.
- Is it possible to run it, with a KISS / TNC interface with a receiver?
- (I.e. as a 'receive-only' station?)
- I also understand that NOS can use SLIP to connect itself to a network
- with wired connections. Can it be configured to use a dial-up
- connection, so that I can connect to a *nix-network with my modem?
- That way I could just call the machine we have at work to do ftp and
- other things.
- Answers are most welcome. Thanks in advance!
