  14. Well, I have finally managed to get a "real" Unix account, with all the
  15. trimmings  (as opposed to what I am doing now, using a BBS)...

  17. Anwyay,

  19.     What I'd like to do is what my friend with his mac showed me.
  20.  
  21.     He ran a program called "layers" on the unix machine, and then fired
  22. up a program of the same name on the mac.
  23.  
  24.     He then was able to open bunches of different windows and do stuff
  25. in them (all text based, no graphics)... more or less at the same time.
  26.  
  27.     Does such a thing exist for us Amiga people?  Where can I get it,
  28. and how do I set it up (I took a quick look at the DNET docs and they look a
  29. bit ... daunting, I guess.)
