- Hiyas all...
-
- Well, I have finally managed to get a "real" Unix account, with all the
- trimmings (as opposed to what I am doing now, using a BBS)...
-
- Anwyay,
-
- What I'd like to do is what my friend with his mac showed me.
-
- He ran a program called "layers" on the unix machine, and then fired
- up a program of the same name on the mac.
-
- He then was able to open bunches of different windows and do stuff
- in them (all text based, no graphics)... more or less at the same time.
-
- Does such a thing exist for us Amiga people? Where can I get it,
- and how do I set it up (I took a quick look at the DNET docs and they look a
- bit ... daunting, I guess.)
-
- Thanks!
