  15. First, I have a question pertaining to other fellow Skyline sysops out
  16. there, if any of you still run it.  Has the author (Michael Cox) abandoned
  17. his support BBS and the software?  I pre-ordered the Skyline 2.x software
  18. update this summer.  I received and installed it on august 1st.  During the
  19. time period from receiving up until late october, I was unable to ever get a
  20. response of any sort from the author's support BBS.  I haven't tried dialing
  21. it up since.  I have been with this software since it was first released
  22. as Atredes 1.0.

  24. Second, if in fact this software is no longer being supported by it's
  25. developer, I would like to hear any comments from other former Skyline
  26. sysops today who have switched to some other BBS software.  How do you like
  27. it compared to what you were used to, etc.  I am especially curious about
  28. DLGPro, BBX, and Excelsior which I've already read some comments on.  I
  29. would like to express that I am not interested in CNet, unless the
  30. user-interface has changed dramatically from years ago.

  32. Thanks for helpful feedback!  My former users would like to see me put my
  33. system back up again, but I will only do so if the software is reliable and
  34. well supported.
