- This is a sure sign that your DTE (computer to modem) rate is set too
- high. What do you have the serial port set to? I found that my
- unaccellerated A500 running AmigaDOS 1.3 could only do 19200 bps before
- I got the CRC errors, and even then I got one or two. Under AmigaDOS
- 2.1 I can *almost* hit 38400, but it's a lot better if I leave it at
- 19200.

- It'll help if you enable JR-Comm's "turbo" setting, and if you set the
- task priority up high. Under 1.3 I had JR-Comm's priority set at 15.
- Under 2.1 the serial device is enough faster that I can get away with
- leaving the priority set at 0.
