  39. I'm the author of quip and I'd love to help you out here.
  40. What problems do you exactly have with the message viewer?
  41. Please describe them a bit longer, so I can reproduce and fix them.

  43. At the moment I can only think of the fact that the message viewer
  44. doesn't have a text reflow routine, so you get 'ugly' output if
  45. the text does have line breaks instead of paragraph breaks and the
  46. lines are a bit longer than what fits in the display.

  48. You can work around this by making the display bigger (resize the
  49. quip window, pehaps use an overscanned screen) or using a smaller
  50. font (or a proportional one like helvetica instead of a fixed-width
  51. typeface).

  53. Perhaps the next release of quip might help you, too. It will have
  54. a faster message display, but don't expect reflow yet. So what
  55. might fix your problem is the fact that you can configure the next
  56. release to use an external messageviewer like More, Muchmore,
  57. Multiview etc. instead of the builtin one.

  63. I'm afraid it might still take some time for the next release,
  64. as I'm currently involved in several other projects, too. A stable
  65. beta version of the software is finished, but the new rewritten
  66. manual is still in the works.

  69. that is amiga.physik.unizh.ch and its mirrors.
