  16. That's not quite true either, Crystal.  The major difference between the
  17. old versions of the Perfect Sound hardware and the Perfect Sound 3 hardware is 
  18. the addition of software gain control (or the removal of the gain knob in the 
  19. back, whichever way you like to perceive it).  For me, anyway, this made for
  20. samples of *much* (I'd almost say exponentially) higher quality.  Maybe the
  21. Psound 3 hardware has better analog/digital converters, but I'm not sure on 
  22. that.
