- MED only supports Perfect Sound versions BEFORE 3.0. When PerfectSound
- introduced 3.0, they for some reason decided to make themselves
- hardware-incompatible with all previous versions of their own product.
- So, MED and most PD sampler programs only support pre-3.0 versions of
- PerfectSound.
-
- My brother does all his sampling with MED and some old PerfectSound hardware
- (before 3.0 came out) and it works just fine. I was thinking about buying
- a sampler myself, but I can no longer be sure which ones are compatible
- with MED etc. I would imagine that most of the "build-it-yourself" ones
- floating around on the net are compatible (the old interface was extremely
- simple).
