- Just to add my input...
-
- * A user-preference file to use whatever settings I choose to
- use in my papers without constantly changing it thru menus.
- (For example: I hate the default setting of 6 points for
- super/subscripts. I'd rather use 3 point.)
-
- * A 'sliding' tab bar where I can slide my tab into whatever position
- I choose to have it. This would be much better than the add-delete
- tab positions now used - and make it much easier to lay out a heading
- for a table.
-
- * Screen redraws!!! If it can't be made faster (especially on a 68000),
- at least make so that I can choose to redraw the screen when I want to,
- not when I make a change in a location of an object. (I especially
- hate it when I get a screen redraw for removing/adding Tabs!!! The
- minimal change that should be made to the document is within the text
- box itself - not the entire page!!!) Most times, in making simple changes,
- you don't really need an entire redraw.
-
- Other than that, I really enjoy using PageStream. It's my favorite text
- publishing program!
