- I'm having an absolutely awful time trying to get gnuplot running reliably
- on my machine. The farthest I've ever gotten is a couple of plots of
- functions (all relatively simple), and then the thing either
- a) sort of locks up- i.e. I can still do other things with the computer, but
- I not longer have control of cli window I'm running under.
- b) the power light starts blinking....
-
- There are two different compressed files for gnuplot that I have obtained
- (can't remember the name of one of of them, but it was about 200k long. THe
- other was gnuplot_3.2bin.lha (I think)). The first one tended to lock up, and
- the second immediately crashed as soon as I inputed a single command (even if
- it was as simple as "help".) I'm not sure, but I think it might be hardware
- related. I have 500 that's about 4.5 to 5 years old, running on wb1.2
- although I usually use a 1.3 version boot disk.
-
- Any help would be appreciated. I can be contacted at
- MCasey@ac.dal.ca
- Thanks.
