- Your RAM memory seems sufficient to run PasTeX V1.3's utilities (i.e.,
- MetaFont, ShowDVI, DVIprint, virtex, etc.). As far as I am aware, PasTeX
- will run on any Amiga (I am using an A3000, however). As for disk space, I
- would suggest about 15 megabytes. The documentation says a maximum of 10
- megabytes, but those font files (if you keep them on your hard disk) take up
- some room! My PasTeX files currently use 23K+ blocks (about 11.7
- megabytes); however, I keep all the archives files on my hard disk too. I
- am sure you can get by with 10 megabytes; the question is, how quick will
- document processing be?
-
- As for Amiga .DVI files being compatible with other machines' .DVI files, I
- have no idea since I have not tried this yet. Also, I do not have the
- commercial version of TeX for the Amiga, so I cannot comment on it.
-
- Hope this helps,
-
