- care of the timing and input events for blanking/unblanking the screen.
- The modules determine what will appear on the screen. So, you could have
- a variety of different blanker modules (e.g., spliner, starfield, flying
- toasters, fish, etc) which would be called by the handler when it's
- time to blank the screen.
