  12.                     A BRIEF ABOUT 7300's IN CHICAGO
  13.  
  14. There are *about* 900 NEW, good, 7300's in a warehouse in Chicago. Also
  15. *about* 400 of same that didn't boot when tested but no diagnosis has been
  16. made of why.

  18. There are *about* 4000 Foundation Sets of the operating system. The FS is
  19. sufficient to run application programs. There are NO Development Sets.
  20.  
  21. The owner has been looking for a buyer of the entire inventory. So far
  22. unsuccessful. However, he has developed an application and a new business
  23. that could very easily use all of the 7300s, so this could be the last
  24. posting of the availability of these machines.

  28.     A minimum of 20% of the price to me. I forward the payment to
  29.     Chicago, alert him with electronic notice over the net, mail an
  30.     order to him and a copy to the buyer showing payment and balance
  31.     due. Shipment is made from Chicago via UPS COD for
  32.     the balance plus shipping. Allow 3 - 5 weeks, depending on mail to
  33.     me, mail to Chicago, the owner's schedule to go across Chicago plus
  34.     a couple of suburbs to the warehouse, and UPS. Weight of a 7300 in
  35.     shipping carton is approximately 60 pounds.

  37.     SPECIAL SHIPPING: Arrangements have been made for Federal Express
  38.     to provide second day delivery within a radius of 600 miles of
  39.     Chicago for a flat fee of $15.00.

  44.     brother" of the 3B1, though the 3B1 is a newer, bigger upgrade.
  45.     These 7300's have: 1MB Ram, 20MB hard drive, 3-button mouse,
  46.     built-in modem (1200 baud), green on black monochrome monitor
  47.     (approx 11" diagonal), 1 floppy drive (formats at 320 DOS or 480
  48.     UNIX, reads or copies to whatever the floppy is formatted) 5.25 in.
  49.     OS provides windowed operation (Was 7 years ahead of DOS).
