- I ftp'd a copy of uuencode/uudecode from Ohio State. They work fine right
- now. I run into a problem when I try and split up a file to avoid limits
- enforced by some mail programs. What is a good way to split a file into
- multiple files so I can send them through mail? The individual files
- were 1 byte longer each when I stripped off the header, and then I combined
- them into one file again and it was 2 bytes longer (I know this is probably
- obvious to some of you). When I uudecoded it, I got a file that is
- 42 bytes larger than the original, but when I untar it, many of the files are
- missing. Can any of you help me with this? I haven't had much experience
- with uuencode/uudecode and these commands are not listed in any of the
- unix manuals that I have. Any help would be wonderful!!
