- I can send him a WD2010 for $10.00. I've been hoarding a couple and may
- never use them. I'll keep the other but will "sacrifice" one. It is
- supposed to be and appears to be new. I have not tested it however.

-
- I'm the guy who has been making those postings about the Chicago warehouse
- full. The Chicago guy still has 4000+/- of them. Price $60.00 through me.
- Anyone ordering is going to have to hurry. I'll probably make one more
- posting (including some new price information when Chi finalizes it) before
- everything will be dumped in the lake or something. Warehouse space for
- them is going to disappear in a little over a month.)
-
- ------------------------------------------------------
-
- I will need the address of this person. I *think* I saw it last night -
- Norway? Postage is a beast. First Class is $.50 per half ounce with a
- little reduction as the ounces go up, but not much. Small packets do
- better. Anyhow, if you or anyone has his address still, send it to me. Or,
- if he can mail to me would be better still.
-
- -------------------------------------------------------
-
- He *might* even do better to get a NEW 7300 from Chicago.
-
- *IF* he can qualify as a non-profit organization by submitting US
- IRS form 501(c)(3), or the Norwegian equivalent, he can buy up to 5
- "DOA" (unidentified bug) machines for $6.00 (SIX) dollars each.
- That is a total of $30.00 out of which he ought to be able to build
- a couple of working machines. (60# each may kill him on shipping)
-
- OR, as a nfp org, he can get one GOOD machine for $160.00 plus
- shipping.
-
- AS nfp, one Foundation Set $30.00 plus shipping.
-
- --------------------------
-
- Proof of being a student will allow him to buy one GOOD machine at
- $160.00 or TWO DOA machines at $55.00 each (must take two).
-
- ----------------------------------------------------
-
- If he prefers just to replace the boot disk rather than going one of the
- more elaborate ways suggested, there are two: Floppy Boot disk and the Hard
- Disk boot disk. I can mail two floppies and a mailer from here to Norway
- for about $2.75 or $3.00 postage. If I weren't on a skimpy retirement
- income I'd throw in the floppies and mailer but I can't afford to. So that
- adds another $2.00 - - - *IF* he's interested. Total $5.00. UNLESS someone
- closer can do it faster and cheaper. That's 3.51 vers. by the way. I wonder
- if he has the patch disks to bring it up to 3.51m?
