  24.     I haven't looked at the ptoc program, but I have compiled the p2c on
  25. the 3B1, several years ago.  I don't remember any problems with the
  26. compilation, and I have fairly good confidence in it, since it has modes to
  27. emulate several flavors of Pascal compilers, and it comes with several test
  28. programs in Pascal to make sure it is working properly.  One of them is a
  29. full BASIC interpreter, which seems to work reasonably well (for as long as
  30. I was willing to backgrade to BASIC to test it. :-)
