- There's a difference between not having the experience (your
- MBA/EE/Physics example -- they have the tools, but not the experience on
- larger/more complex problems) and lacking the basic tools in the first
- place.

- Go to any university and ask a representative sample of the CS students
- about something like JSD (which has been around for how many years?) and
- see how many blank looks you get. Or ask them about how to write test
- cases for their programs. Or (as mentioned previously) revision control
- and source management.

- The EE going into the world might not have the experience to develop a
- high-end graphics system, but they at least would have an *idea* of how
- to tackle the problem.
