- I'm having a few problems with WinQVTnet and a SLIP connection and wondering
- if anyone can lend a hand. They are as follows (version 3.03 unless stated!).
-
-
- 1) Error messages in console log- I constantly get a message saying "IP: bad
- version number" even with successful ftp and telnet sessions. What does this
- mean? How do I go about correcting it (if even necessary) ?
-
- 2) Packet fragmentation occurrs whenever I try to connect to my news server.
- This makes this function unusable as it hangs the window. How can I correct
- this? Is there a setting in qvtnet.ini that will help or a configurational
- thing that can be done at the annex terminal server?
-
- 3) WinQVTnet 3.1 crashes with a GPF (sometimes, other times not even that
- gracefully). I do have the DOS environment size set to 2048 bytes without
- any success running WinQVTnet3.1. Any further tricks I should try?
-
- 4) WinQVTnet causes windows to disappear whenever the packet driver (and
- WinQVTnet of course) is set to 0x062. Things work as expected at 0x060. Why?
-
- Any assistance would be most appreciated! I'll welcome responses either by
- post or email and summarize to the net if warranted. Thanks!
