- Hi,
-
- Yesterday, to my delight I stumbled on the fact that Kermit now supports
- TCP/IP. And now that I've discovered it, I've got a few questions. I'm
- using an old PS/2 8086, connect by Ethernet to the campus backbone, then
- going out to the Internet. By way of introduction, I would consider
- myself a Telnet user, not a hacker of Telnet.
-
- 1. When scrolling through many pages of text, is Kermit slower than
- NCSA Telnet or is it just my imagination? If it is slower, is
- there any way I can speed it up?
-
- 2. The reason I find Telnet appealing is because of the ability to
- write script files. While I don't know of this ability in Telnet,
- maybe it is possible. Is it possible to write auto-login scripts
- in NCSA Telnet? How do you go about doing it? Is there any
- documentation anywhere?
