- Has anyone ever tried this? The slip-driver Sun delivers with PC-NFS
- doesn't support higher speeds than 9600, which is *much* too slow for us.
-
- So, I got pktd40a.sys to interface PC-NFS to a packet driver, in this
- case SLIP8250.COM, which does support higher speeds. But PC-NFS keeps on
- giving the following message:
-
- NFS000F: PC-NFS is disabled. (Can't start network: check configuration.)
-
- I have tried to use the same packet driver setup with NCSA telnet, it works.
- I've also tried to use exactly the same PC-NFS setup with a packet driver
- for an ethernet controller, that also worked.
-
- So, it seems that pktd40a.sys can't communicate with SLIP8250.com.
- But why? Anyone who knows?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
- Henk.
