- The problem is that some of the later patch levels implement 132 column
- support on certain video cards. This involves a "detection" test to
- detect which type of 132 column mode your card supports. Unfortunatly
- for you your video card BIOS causes this test to hang (S3 based or
- Trident 8800 + others). Tn pl5 has a "-s" switch to suppress this
- test. 2.10+ has an entry in "PCTCP.INI" to do the same.
