- If anyone has any information about this, please post it as a follow-up
- message as opposed to an e-mail response. I am interested in this topic as
- well.
-
- I do, however, know of an FTP compatible SLFP driver. SLFP is another
- protocol, similar to SLIP and PPP. This driver can be located on
- "merit.edu" in the pub/ppp subdirectory in a file called slfernet.zip (or
- something like that). The packet driver is called "slfernet".
-
- I looked in that same subdirectory for a PPP packet driver that is
- compatible with FTP's PC/TCP software, but I could not find anything. A
- PPP packet driver is bundled together with NCSA telnet, but it is not
- recognized by PC/TCP's ETHDRV kernel because the packet driver is the wrong
- class.
