- Hello Everyone:
-
- Help! I tried to set up DESQview/X software with my Sun's PC-NFS software
- and Kermit with Packet Drivers (PKTD40A.SYS and PKTMUX) but DESQview/X
- installation does not work with network setup. It just returned '1 None'
- that means stand-alone X windows system! I can't access to network with
- dvx. Does anyone have a way to setup packet driver for dvx to PKTMUX drivers?
- Please response me as soon as possible because this is very important for my
- job.
-
- Also I complaint that dvx is very slow on my Dell 310 computer. With
- 256-color display server, response time is delayed. For example, I moved
- a mouse and its mouse pointer moved in 5 seconds later. Its response time is
- 5 seconds. With 16-color display server, its reponse time is much better but
- its graphics operations are very slow. Both servers are very slow. I
- guess that my pc must have slow 386 CPU. What are any recommendations for right
- CPU about dvx?
-
- Please response me as soon as possible because it is very important for my
- deptarment here. Remember that DESQview/X is X-window emulator for PCs.
