  12. We have installed CAP6.0 patchlevel 126 on our IPX running SUNOS 4.1.3.
  13. We are using native ethertalk phase 2.  Only aarpd and atis are started.
  14. At the beginning, everything works fine and atlook returns all the appletalk
  15. nodes.  However, after about 5 mintues, the number of nodes returned by atlook
  16. decreases gradually and finally atlook does not return any node.  After that,
  17. even getzones return error (1096 - too many retries)
  18. aarpd log says many (10 or 20)

  20.     etalk_resolve: node 57/0.2 try again later

  22. each time we invoke getzones or atlook. (I suppose 2.57 is our bridge)

  24. Our sniffer shows that node 2.57 does response to the aarp request from
  25. the IPX but the IPX just keeps on sending aarp request to the net and
  26. nothing else.  Finally everything times out.

  28. Does anybody have similar experience on this?
