- We have installed CAP6.0 patchlevel 126 on our IPX running SUNOS 4.1.3.
- We are using native ethertalk phase 2. Only aarpd and atis are started.
- At the beginning, everything works fine and atlook returns all the appletalk
- nodes. However, after about 5 mintues, the number of nodes returned by atlook
- decreases gradually and finally atlook does not return any node. After that,
- even getzones return error (1096 - too many retries)
- aarpd log says many (10 or 20)
-
- etalk_resolve: node 57/0.2 try again later
-
- each time we invoke getzones or atlook. (I suppose 2.57 is our bridge)
-
- Our sniffer shows that node 2.57 does response to the aarp request from
- the IPX but the IPX just keeps on sending aarp request to the net and
- nothing else. Finally everything times out.
-
- Does anybody have similar experience on this?
-
- Thanks,
- Charles
