- Hi,
-
- I have some old DC300 type tapes which I want wo use (write) with my
- QIC-150 streamer (Tandberg TDC 3600).
-
- Is there any chance?
-
- I checked the holes at begin of tape (BOT) and found that hole pattern
- is the same on DC300 and DC600 but the last hole (at BOT towards EOT)
- on DC300 tapes has a smaller diameter. Is this THE? only difference
- between DC300 and DC600 (not regarding diffs in magnetic material).
-
- Would it be possible to enlarge this hole so that the tape will be
- detected as DC600?
-
- Thanks for any info,
- Harald

- Congratulations! If AT&T wins its suit against BSDI, you've guaranteed that
- you can never write OS software again, just by reading the previous line!
